what you have my friend is a e40d trans i have not and will not buy a used one.these trans are weak from the start 1800 IS right in line price wise heck i have one out on my grease rack as we speak. im fixen to put a C-6 in place of it and see if i can make it shift the e4od is electronic controlled .my dad give 1700. dollars and it lasted 30000 miles so im gona try a different route this time
