96 Thunderbird- Thanksgiving 2002- Rearended another car and bags deployed- Burned my wife's neck and broke three knuckles on my left hand because hand was on steering wheel right over air bag. Another side effect of deployed airbags is that most car insurance is hesitant to repair a car that has the bags deployed. My car actually had only 2500 dollars damage to front in, but deployed air bags raised repair bill to almost 6000, therefore totalled out the car.
