I have found that the new engines are very sensitive to clean battery connections. About 3mths is all I can go without cleaning the connections.

That would lead me to agree with Lucass that your loosing a ground somehwere. To prove this install a temperory ground jumper on that plug. If it improves, start looking at all wiring grounds.

It could have a different ground path while on high idle than it does on normal idle.
