And.... As far as the HP per dollar math issue... Do you suppose the purchase price of a used tractor is the last money ever spent on that machine? Yesterday, I saw a 6030 Deere sell for $8000 at auction. It belonged to someone I know. The tractor was on a dyno just a few months back.... WELL OVER 225HP. Now consider that IH, or anyone else for that matter, had a 225 HP (or 175 RATED hp) tractor back when that 6030 hit the dirt. You can get your hands on later model Deere's, 150 HP and bigger for not much more than a mint 4020. Your comparing everything to the value of a 4020 isn't apples to apples. The 4020 will be one of those tractors like an 8N Ford... It will sell for WAY more than anything in it's class for all of time. Just a classic that's earned a name that won't go away.
