Todays average 3/4 or 1 ton 4 X 4 ( 300 HP ) will move a 20,000 lb sled from a dead start to approximately 150 to 200 ft without full spin out pending soil conditions. I would assume those old combines only weigh a fraction of the 20,000 and being on wheels the ground friction is reduced which allows any prankster to yank these combines a short distance and demolish.
