Kubota, JD, NH (aka Case now) all have good
machines, pick the dealer, features, and price
you like. Can't really buy a bad one.

Agco has a pretty good machine as well, just
less dealers so it doesn't get mentioned as
much.

Stay away from anything built in China. The
workmanship on them is aweful.

Korea makes some pretty good vanilla
machines for less $$$ if you want to go cheap.
As well, there are some from Japan like
Yanmar that are pretty good bang for the buck.

www.tractorbynet.com is a good place to go to
discuss newer compacts.
