Hi indy. Our neighbor has deere and we have red tractors so we have drove each others tractors. I shouldnt genrealize so much I suppose. He has had 4630-4640-4650 and I really didnt notice much difference between the 30 and 40. They were much nicer to drive than our 66-86 series tractors but they just didnt seem as peppy as I thought they should have been. I know he had alot of weight on that 40 maybe that was the problem. His 4650 was mfwd and powershift and it got right out and went. I still prefer our magnums over his 8000 series tractors but I'm not sure about cases mx tractors just yet. It is fact that a 4640 is worth alot more than its red counterpart and that says something for the tractor.
