Agree with Paul on convenience. Dynamometers (spelling?) attach to the pto shaft, aren't all that big, and are used to indicate how much torque/rpm's (hence hp)the tractor can put into the machine indicating the answer. Also, with PTO's you don't have to factor in tire slippage on how much useful work you are getting for your buck. Mark
