Right you are Hugh, the Cockshutt 30 holds that distinction but there is a little asterisk with that statement. Cockshutt was the first with that feature in a full-production run tractor, there were a few earlier ones but they were just sort of "scratch-built" units on other tractors, not a real production run. It was designed and developed by a Canadian by the name of Ivan McRae if my memory serves me correct.
