Hi Guy, I was hoping to keep the total salvage price, the cost of repairs and the clean up under the $10K price, but I'm probably foolin' myself 'cause one always runs into more little boo-boos that a guy hasn't counted on. At the onset, with it having the 4 'almost new' filled tires, all that was apparently wrong was the leaking engine liner, a loose front end pin/bushings, a weeping clutch assist cylinder and with the tractor having 4006 total hours, I thought it was worth the $3500 salvage price and that I could get it back to form with another $6K. The local dealer here wants $10K for tired old tractors having upwards of 10,000 hours and I wouldn't know what I had, so I just think I can get a better bang for the buck by fixin' this old heifer up. I dunno, this game is an expensive undertaking any way you look at it. Allan
