Some Throttle body fuel injections (I saw them on Buicks and Oldsmobiles in the mid 80's) had their own coolant supply to one side of the throttle body. I guess the coolant kept the throttle body at a constant temperature when warm and therefore should have been easier for the computer to calculate the proper mix. I would think that the antifreeze mix wouldn't be nearly as rough on a hose as hot oil.
