Howdy,

I did check with Miller tire to see what new ones go for and they are at 485.00 per rim. It's not good though since the guy I'm doing this restoration for just came over and paid 1000 and said that should cover everything left on the restoration. He's not rich by any means and I've been looking for rims for a long time now with no luck whatsoever. I'm leery of spending so much for used rims but new ones just can't be purchased. I still have to get rear tires for this thing. Polk also has the governor parts for the R that I'm in need of. I'm just not sure what to do. I really want to get this thing done. I have no job right now and might consider another restoration for hire gig if a fella I know is still interested and this thing has been sitting in the shop lacking only rear wheels for like 5 months now. I realize my patience is not at a par level right now but things have really just slid downhill for me since graduating college. I guess I'll lay some of my woes on ya just go get it off my chest. Graduated in June with a meteorology degree, no jobs out there for new grads., all the potential jobs want experienced folks, I don't feel like I'm educated enough in my field but have no idea where to get the materials to become more educated, my family and friends and even church members make me feel ashamed of myself for not having a job, I didn't do a very few things in college that I find out now would have given me a job, I want to maintain my grandparents farm but my folks want me to erase my mind concerning all things farming, and the list goes on. Sorry to dump that on ya but right now you share the only common bond with me among those i call friend. Thank you for listening. God bless you all.
