no, a 24 inch blade ain't near big enough to cut 10 inch timbers. To get a ten inch timber you are looking at a log maybe 20 inches on the big end. I'd say a 36 inch blade would be a bare minimum and 40 or better would be best. I'd try buying one of those bandsaw mills. I bet you get back in Amish country you could pick up a good one for less than $2500.
