Its actually an ignition type coil. The heating system is made by a company called Webasto. They are commonly used in semis. It uses diesel fuel. It has a tank and pump to cycle the coolant through the heater core. I was surprised to find out that it has a 45,000btu rating. They want $250.00 for the coil. You can see why I am a bit reluctant yet. They also told me they are the only thing common to go out. The unit model 2010 sells for over $2000.00 new. I saw one on Ebay for $1500.00 starting bid.
