I'm assuming Curtis Pitts was running radials and maybe bi-wing radials (barnstormer).

There is an acrobat that has a private strip up on lake Texoma who comes down this way sometimes. As you say, those old radials are unique and this guy knows how to fly....deliberate stalls and all; absolute vertical climbs (not many jets will do that).

And then there are the days when the "Confederate Air Force" comes thru on their way to an air show somewhere....... I run out of the house every time I hear one go by and remember the days of old.
