I have a 99 F-350 and I would look for a fuel pump relay or something that would click under the dash, and also a fuel pressure sensor that gives the signal to the computer to cycle the relay, have you changed the fuel filter lately, and remember that the cam position sensor is something that you want to change before you have a problem with it, have you tried to pull the codes from the computer to see if it set one, might be worth a look...
