Why is it that some people dealing across the Canadian-US border don't seem to realize that they are dealing across an international border, and customs and terrorism (especially nowadays) rules apply? I live less than 30 miles from the US - Canadian border, and often used to go up north for ag parts. The crossing of the border now is sure different than it was 20 years ago. If you were a local, you pretty much got waved across with hardly a glance, and for some that often crossed for parts or fishing, etc, if the border guys knew you, even LESS than a passing glance. It's a WHOLE LOT more serious matter today. That's why, even thought I enjoy Canada a lot, I think twice before getting something shipped across the border. You never know nowadays what customs or brokerage fees you may be "hit" with, or what the delay may be!
