Can't answer your question exactly, but while you are asking let me tell a story. Bear with me, I am not trying to flame any one, just tell the story as it is. I had a somewhat similiar experience. Last year about late July I looked a Honda GX160 engine for grandson's gokart from a company in Texas called "Phazeracing" which is actually Phaze Auto parts, and they assured my by return e-mails that engine was in good shape except for needing a tuneup and small items. I asked also in a later email if the Honda intergal oil clutch was good,(read this as expensive), along with the reduction gear and sprocket for the output shaft. I recieved a return email stating that the clutch/reduction unit was in deed good. So I proceeded to bid on the item and won it. Paid by Pay pal almost immediately. It took a couple of weeks to even get them to respond to emails even though they already had their money. their excuse was that they were on gone on a vacation, Did every body at this parts house go on this vacation at the same time? There is also a vacation feature built into the E-bay process that tells people so. When I finally got them to ship the engine it arrived by FedEx and I open it and it looked as good on the outside of the picture and I proceeded to tune it up simply with valve adjustment and carburetor cleaning and adding a fuel tank as was stated. It ran good for a used engine, but had the most awful noise coming from the clutch. I took it apart and the clutch that normally runs in the same oil as the engine was toast. Appeared to have been without oil and the bushing in the engine part of the drive side had about 3/16" clearance on the shaft and the linings were burnt so bad they were crumbly. Got back in touch with them finally by having to use the"ask seller a question" form on another item on e-bay because their e-mails always came back as deliverable. Finally they called me. All this has already consumed about 6 weeks of time. The lady named Laura assured me they would get me a replacement unit out in the mail. Waited for about 2 weeks and finally called them back on the phone and Laura then told me that they had sent it to the wrong person, and as soon as it came back they would get it out to me.That was about 2=1/2months ago. So in answer to your question about the Pony Express. Aaaaaalthough I think they went coast to coast in maybe three weeks with the mail. It is still lost trying to deliver my package! The one great lesson I learned from this mess was that I being new to E-bay auction buying was that I made a big mistake by posting feed back when I opened the package and it look good and I posted feed back on them that it looked as good as the picture showed. STUPID!!! Now I never post feed back till I go all the way looking into what I buy, Guess thsat I got just what I deserved. I would say to any one buying from Phazeracing on E-bay- beware!!Sorry for the long posting, I just hate it when you can't trust the simple statement; "yes it is good"! It is written in the Bible, "let your yes be yes and your no be no". Finally bought one elsewhere out of disgust! Thanks for listening to me gripe. Gene Davis
