They work nicely, don't they? I took a six foot wide one that was commercially built for my AC-B back in the '40s and widened it to about 10 feet to use on my Oliver 77. I used to chain it to the bucket but have since taken to pulling the pins and replacing the bucket with the plow - makes the overall length of the unit shorter that way. I normally plow my driveway (1/2 mile long) with a one ton PU with 8 ft standard blade. But when the going gets tough with deep, heavy, wet snow, the V can't be beat due to the steep angle on both sides providing a balanced sidethrust. I also use it to push the banks back to make room for the next storm.
