JD 2440 fuel system

I am replacing the rubber o rings on the return line on the injectors because a couple are leaking fuel. Is there anything else I may want to do while I am replacing these since I have the hood off and have easy access to the injectors? The tractor seems to run ok but does have a slight skip to it every now and then while idiling. Could this have something to do with the injection pump? Getting air somewhere? Thanks in advance!
