Don, Did you have the presence of mind to check the tractor out thoroughly before you handed over the check? If you did, then you would have seen the obvious red flags waving before hand. If you didn"t thoroughly inspect the merchandise before handing over the money, then you have only yourself to blame, if you feel you got the raw end of the bargain. Without hearing the other side, I think it premature and irresponsible to label the transaction as "crooked". Plastering the seller"s name all over the internet does not bode well for the sympathy you solicit here. It is one thing to warn others against scams, but nothing I read in your diatribe suggests anything more than a lack of preparation and homework on your part before consumating the sale.
