About 6 months, and it won't be getting any older. Had a 3.5 watt analog in my truck,paid for 20 minutes a month (minimum plan)rarely used more than 5. When it died, couldn't see paying nearly $30 a month for a phone I wasn't using, so went with a trackfone.

Minimum purchase is 10 minutes, expire whether used or not after 90 days. Every time I call to recharge it turns into a runaround and a giant pain. STILL wasn't using all my minutes, so the last time they expired, I threw the damn thing in the center console, and it'll still be there in 20 years when I junk the truck as far as I'm concerned.

They're a hassle to use, coverage sucks in Downeast Maine, the signal stinks, you can hardly be understood and I don't need to be in touch that much anyway.

In fact, I ENJOY not being connected.

(In case I was too subtle, I HATE cell phones...)
