The pump operated as a steam engine would, however used vapor instead of steam. The vapor powered pump was used to pump liquid propane into the vessel you were filling whether tractor, pickup tank, etc.

I think the brand was "John Blue". The manufacture of this particular pump was discontinued while I still worked for the dealer, and I stopped long about 1980. I don't know if anyone makes one commercially or not.
