Our pets are important, but even more so should be our children. There have been 11 children lost in house fires in this part of the state within the last couple weeks. The latest was last Saturday morning about 30 miles from here. Four children, ages 3 to 7 died when the house burned. The fire started after a blanket came in contact with a propane sunflower heater that was being used in a bedroom. Most people wouldn't trust a device like this around their pets...but think heating a kid's bedroom is OK! Lets pray that we can use as much common sense with our children as we would our pets.
