Guess I'm different from the rest. I buy new then pay attention to the repair costs. I do as much as of the repair and maintainance I can but when the cost of repair starts to equal the value of the vehicle it's time to sell and buy another. Manufacturers are getting the repair/maintainance intervals longer with each model. The last vehicle I sold had 220,000 miles and was 16 years old. It was running real good but the value had dropped and little failures were getting more frequent with the cost of repair getting very close to the value of the vehicle.
