The reason for 5w-20 oil is that ford has hardened the engine parts so a thinner oil can be used and you get better milage to boot. But using a heavier oil in a motor can cause bearings to fail belive it or not so I would stick with the 5-20 and not worry .Walmart sells it cheap if you like to change it your self.
