I just spent 3/4 of the price of a brandnew vehicle in repairs over three years on the wife's p.o.s.
Would have been ok except for six separate errors in workmanship .
Purchase something off a lease two years old and trade at 4-6 years age depending on mileage.
I'll never keep anything again that's old enough or has gone far enough that it may need serious repairs.
Depreciation is cheaper than a highschool dropout who got a mechanic's apprenticeship working on your vehicle.
