I mow my hay with a Hesston self-propelled 110 mower/conditioner, 1967 model, powered by a wis V4. It is very stable on hillsides except going downhill with the cutterbar up, when the backend will pick up when stopping. I just keep it down until I turn the corner mostly. It is not a finish mower for lawns. I wore out one, paid $1800 in '73. Bought another one 5 years ago, paid $900. It has 6 vee-belts, all but one a PTIA to change.
