For many years nothing under 100 HP was even assembled in USA. This is changing lately as quite a few are at least assembled here,using parts gathered up from all over ( just like cars ). I talked to a fellow that works for MTD which builds the Cub Cadet compacts he said some of their new models are mostly USA except for the engines. They could be the closest right now ?
