I agree with Lyle on this one. Jack the trator up. I let out all the air as well. Half of my chains were loose, half tight. With big lugged tires, you don't want all the chains tight. No good. As I have no pavement on my place, I leave mine on all year. Putting on chains correctly takes way toooo much time. By the way, mine chains would rise a good 2 inches off the tires at 15 mph.
