Ras, Please, please, please do not take offence at this, but if you had bell-mouthed guides and then went in there and "lapped" your valves and seats, you have actually compounded the problem instead of helping solve it. Lapping, without first having the valve in absolute perfect alignment with it's seat, is just "wobbling out the hole" more yet and is just 'adding' to the wear, so to speak. Allan
