I think it could be the nature of the beast. Have a MF35 (continental 134ci) that sounds/runs the same way. Never misses under load so i don't consider it a problem. I feel it is the crudeness of the carb, not exactly the precision of efi controlling the fuel mixture. Maybe even the exhaust system. Ken
