When I rebuilt mine for my Bolins I found that the "small bore" and "Large Bore" Onans are the same block... The small bore block can be bored to the same as a large bore, and the price was about the same... What I ended up using was a new shortblock for a small BobCat that a fellow had and didn't use... I had to ues the old crank in the new block, so everything there is the same..!! Even all of the sheetmetal for the blower housing fit..!! Sure has a lot more power..Original rating for that mower was 16 HP--I would guess more like 20 now...(ofcourse I ported it and put seperate exhausts on it)... Here, we can get our Onan parts at the "Great Dane Semi-trailer dealership...Hilliard, Ohio.. One GOOD place to look for new discount Onan engines is at "Glen's Surplus" in Shelby, Ohio. I believe a complete NEW Onan 2-cylinder engine is in the range of $799.oo Complete all the way.. Ron..
