standard adjustable link will go as I have in a
few special cases here are a couple of things
that I have done.
Using a piece of 1/4 or 3/8 by about 2" wide
bar stock cut to the length needed and drill
holes at each end to make a fixed length top
link.
Starting with a ratchet type load binder and
cutting the hooks off the end the center ratchet
part works as a short top link.
In one instance I used a short piece of chain
to make a short top link. - Note this can be
dangerous as it can allow the tractor to back
flip as there is no solid top link.
