I have 4 Rangers.A 94,95,96 and a 2000.All have been great.None use oil.All have 120,000 to 170,000 miles.Had to put clutch in one.My 2000 Ranger had to have the shift motor put in the 4 wheel drive. All get around 20 miles to the gallon. We have worked the he!! out of them. Each work on the farm hard everyday.I think the 4 cylinder is bullet proof. One has the 3.0 in it.Gutless but trouble free.Change the oil........and drive. If you are having problems with them ....YOU are not maintaining them or driving them right.
