I agree with Lucas. Modern engines are better and changing oil at 3000 miles is a waste of money. I have change the oil on my last 4 trucks at 7000 miles and have never had a problem and I ran these truck 180,000 or more before I traded. I also believe Honda knows what they are talking about. They really know how to make engines.
