sounds like what happend to our 4630 back in '81. the 2 small bolts at the front of the transmition pull backward when you are in reverse--when they get a bit old or strained POP! and that drops that shaft down... you might have a range or 2 as we did.. but dont move it far... the farther you go the more damage you do... and it cost us-- 18,000 in 1981......
