Truck, I have 93 ford 150 6 cylinder [4.9} fuel injected with a 5 speed. Averages around 15 MPG . I used to get 20 MPG with my 83 150 that was carbuerated. As for the egr valve, I would'nt think that could hurt mpg that much. You do have to work a six pretty hard to tow anything. I have a Ford F450 with a 460 fuel injected, I pull 10000 lb trailer and get 10mpg Dave
