He He, yup, I'll never forget the time me and dad went down to the local machinery dealer and bought some odd brand blade that the dealer assured us was good for an 80HP 4wd tractor, and we wanted to use it on a 40hp 2wd, and he told us we could never hurt it with our 40 horse and to just bring it back if we didn't like it, because it didn't look all that heavy duty to me. Broke nearly every weld on it the very first pass down the driveway when it snagged on some ice, anyway, he got it back and we waited for a good heavy duty King Kutter blade to come in, and the most we've managed to do to that is scratch the paint. Sounds like the blade you got just isn't heavy duty enough for your tractor.
