I wouldn't set the drums directly on the trailer deck. If you don't have any soft cribbing blocks, go to the nearest building supply store or grocery store and grab a few pallets. Set the tractor on the pallets and let the weight crush/break some of the boards to spread the load out. Then you won't place a "point load" on the drums. Old tires would also work the same way or better.
