I was a kid in the 78 blizzard--- dad got the tractor out and tried to take the local postal clerk home in it got himself stuck ( it was -25 w/winds) then he called for my uncle to come help... he didnt make it as far as dad did (1086 vers 4630--JD won lol) we had drifts here 10ft tall and for this area thats something that never happends well since they both were stuck... a stieger had to get them out.. LOL.
