First off I do not know how much room you will have on a farmall because I do not know them off hand but lets go over some general info. Most use a Delco 10SI alternator for 12V conversions. It is easy to find because they made millions of them and easy to wire the set up. Are you sure you want to do this in a one wire set up. You may want to read This first. A true one wire alternator cost about 3X the price of a regular alternator. Now you need to decide which alternator you will want for this tractor. Imagine it mounted on the tractor and where you would want the wires to mount to it in relation to the adjusting screw hole. With the wires just under the adjusting screw this would be a 12 o-clock position. To the left is a 9 o-clock and to the right is a 3 o-clock. Now with this info go Here and scroll down to the APPLICATION DATA section and pick out which one you need. John †
