The first photo is a picture of an original wide. Note all the cast iron and the tie rods out in front of the axle.

Actually, the aftermarket Swartz front ends are very good, tie rods are behind the axle and they turn a heck of a lot shorter than the originals did. But, they have a somewhat "homemade" appearance and are constructed from all steel.

The second picture is of my H with a Swartz ($813 front-end delivered without the wheels or tires).
