the Ford story was the way I heard it almost exactly. and another bad tractor of that era was one my grampa's grampa baught in 1917 or so
a BULL tractor--- I dont see what could go wrong with it but Grampa said it was not reliabel and became scrap sometime in the mid 20's -but the Avery motor cultivator baught at the same time was good.
