The '24 essex Tri-Directional (ETD) model "Farmer's Helper" (FH) had nothing but bad luck from the time it was drawn up till the last one hit the scrap heap near Jake's Corner Yukon at the old pineapple farm up there. Most everyone who drove it died an early death and even getting near it usually meant some form of bad luck like your barn burning down or your wife running off with your cousin. Many referred to it as the ETD "JPBN" which was short for "Just Plain Bad News".
