A friend of mine works for an excavation company and he hit a bridge with one of the machines on the trailer. The county repaved underneath a rail overpass and raised the road 16" but forgot to change any of the signs of the new height. OOPS! After one other truck hit the overpass they decided to remark the height. Did a number on the main boom of the excavator.
