there is an old metal bridge by my parents that i have been driving over for 20 years. i never paid much attention to the weight limit as my cars were maybe 1 ton (or 1 1/2 at most). well this summer i was going for a load of firewood and was taking the road that the bridge is on. as i headed up onto the bridge i noticed the weight limit was 4 tons. and i was in a newer crew-cab F350. i bet we were just at that limt. after getting the firewood i took another route home. i probably should take more notice of such things.
