As said before, quotation marks enclosing two or more words will find only exact matches for those phrases. So if you are looking for information about a John Deere Model B, typing it this way: "john deere model B" will only return results with that exact wording. Now let's get even more specific in that we want to find out some information about a Power Trol on a John Deere Model B. Since we can't be sure that all six of those words will be in a row, a single set of quotation marks likely won't be of too much use. So we do it this way with the + sign, indicating that we only want to see results that contain both the following phrases: +"john deere model b" +"power trol" Now let's use the - sign. Let's say in the above search you still got a lot of information about remote cylinders, which you really don't want to see. So you can use the minus sign to eliminate any of those matches that contain a certain word or phrase, like this: +"john deere model b" +"power trol" -remote NOTE THAT THE + OR - sign needs to be directly in front of the word or phrase, with no spaces. Happy Searching!
