Just my opinion. We have more cops then necessary because of two things--they're lazy and want to ride around in their cruisers all day instead of walking around town getting to know people. And #2 the politicians have turned them into revenue collectors.
That is the only reason he followed you and it is also the only reason for radar.
In our town (Wash DC) they(pols) are pushing red light cameras and automatic radars. All monitored and ticketed by a contractor who receives a portion of the fines collected. Lets see now: The city puts out no effort and receives thousands, the contractor improves his profits by issuing more tickets. Where's the public safety here?
