hello, the engine was donated by the school. It wasn't my idea to do this, The reason they didn't sell it instead because it had been around the school since the early 70's, and has been apart a thousand times, injection pump leaked down, nobody knew how good of condition it was, except that it ran. outdated for teaching purposes, and the school had got new engines to replace them. the engines were going for scrap iron, and the scrap iron place don't care if the engine runs or not. Why not raise money for charity and have a little fun before it gets melted down? and yes, I am the same fellow who saved a Running Diesel Deutz from the scrap yard for $300.
